Finance Billing Manager

Job Summary

The Finance Billing Professional is responsible for preparing, issuing, and managing accurate invoices while ensuring timely billing and revenue recognition. This role supports financial operations by maintaining billing records, resolving discrepancies, and coordinating with internal teams and clients to ensure smooth billing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue customer invoices in accordance with contract terms and company policies.
• Review billing data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with financial procedures.
• Monitor billing schedules to ensure timely invoicing and revenue collection.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, customer inquiries, and payment issues.
• Maintain accurate billing records and documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
• Coordinate with sales, operations, and customer service teams to verify billing information.
• Reconcile billing accounts and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support accounts receivable processes, including payment tracking and follow-up.
• Generate billing and revenue reports for management review.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or finance operations.
• Strong understanding of billing processes and financial documentation.
• Proficiency in ERP or accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external clients.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a multinational or shared services environment.
• Knowledge of revenue recognition principles.
• Experience handling high-volume billing cycles.
• Familiarity with IFRS or local GAAP standards.
