Position Summary

We are seeking a HEOR Specialist / Senior Specialist to support the design, execution, and management of research initiatives focused on Clinical Outcomes Research and Economic Outcomes Research (CORE). This position will play a key role in generating evidence from patient-related data to support healthcare decision-making, market access, and value demonstration activities.

The successful candidate will combine strong research capabilities with project management expertise, working across multiple stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes research projects.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical & Economic Outcomes Research (CORE)

• Support the planning, execution, and delivery of Clinical Outcomes Research and Economic Outcomes Research projects.
• Generate real-world evidence and patient-centered insights through structured research methodologies.
• Analyze and interpret patient-related data to evaluate clinical, economic, and humanistic outcomes.
• Contribute to evidence-generation strategies supporting healthcare and reimbursement decisions.

Qualitative & Quantitative Research

• Design and manage qualitative research activities, including interviews, focus groups, and stakeholder engagement.
• Support quantitative research projects involving survey design, database analysis, and outcomes evaluation.
• Synthesize research findings into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Develop reports, presentations, and scientific deliverables for internal and external stakeholders.

Project Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Lead and coordinate multiple research projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are achieved.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external research partners, academic institutions, and healthcare stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans.
• Support process improvements and best practices for research execution.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as Life Sciences, Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Economics, Health Policy, Pharmacy, Statistics, Social Sciences, or related discipline.
• Experience managing research projects involving qualitative and/or quantitative methodologies.
• Strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate complex research findings.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent Japanese and business-level English preferred.
