Description

The RCM’s primary responsibility is to plan, develop, and successfully deploy regional customer account strategies and account plans consistent with Global Customer Director (GCD) and Automotive Systems Division’s goals and objectives.

There are 3 key areas of RCM responsibilities

Customer relationship management

  • Deeply understand the customer to gain data, knowledge, relationships that create insight to drive business results
  • Build and manage customer relationships across multiple customer functions (Executives, Product Planning, Marketing, Engineering, and Purchasing). Ensure regional team applies consistent approach to customer mapping and CRM
  • Leads and coordinates high level customer meetings within region (e.g., site visits, strategy meeting, demo’s, tech shows)

New business acquisition and execution

  • Define regional customer strategy (e.g., product, pricing, growth, and manufacturing) for relevant markets. 

Account planning and forecasting

  • Identify and gain GCD alignment on which Targets to pursue. 

 

Requirements

  • 10-15 years’ experience working in the automotive industry in either electrical or software fields. 
  • Proven technical and commercial selling experience with major automotive OEMs.
  • Evidence of managing broad technical and business subjects with a Japanese OEM
  • Strong English and Japanese communication skills required.
  • Undergraduate degree in engineering or business; master’s degree is preferred
