Market Access & Reimbursement Manager

What you'll do

• Develop and execute market access and reimbursement strategies to achieve and maintain successful reimbursement outcomes in Japan.
• Prepare reimbursement dossiers and guide submissions to national regulatory and pricing bodies, including consequent pricing negotiations.
• Secure broad access to the company's products at national and hospital level through well-tailored value communication strategies.
• Adapt and implement market access tools at the country level (health economic models, value story, and other value tools).
• Generate local real-world evidence to strengthen value demonstration.
• Act as the single point of contact for Japan market access strategic initiatives, projects, and activities.
• Support the commercial team in securing private insurance coverage and hospital-based contracts.
• Monitor the pricing and reimbursement environment 
• Share market access learnings and best practices with the International Market Access and Reimbursement team.

Location: Tokyo, Japan (some overnight/weekend travel may be required)

Must-haves

• University degree required in a related field.
• 6-8+ years of market access experience (pricing, health economics, and/or market access positions).
• Deep understanding of the Japanese healthcare system and associated reimbursement processes.
• Solid track record developing and executing market access strategies with successful reimbursement outcomes.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, both written and oral.
• Fluent in English and Japanese.
• Strong analytical skills and familiarity with PowerPoint and Excel.
• Strong project management skills.
• Right to work in Japan without sponsorship.
• Ability to travel, including occasional overnight/weekend travel.
