Role: Director ~ Associate Director, Management Consulting

A global healthcare data and consulting company is expanding its strategy consulting team in Tokyo (hybrid) and is hiring senior consultants at several levels. The final title is set during selection, based on experience.

• Lead strategy engagements for pharmaceutical, medtech, consumer healthcare and investor clients, from brand and launch strategy to digital, sales and organizational transformation.
• Work with regional and global teams and lead international projects, including growth and Japan market-entry strategy for emerging biopharma clients.
• Combine proprietary data assets and technology with strategic consulting, from proposal through implementation support.
• Manage projects, deliver senior-level client materials, develop new follow-on opportunities and mentor junior members.

• Strategy, planning or business-improvement experience at a consulting firm or an operating company.
• Strong interest in or experience of life sciences and healthcare.
• Hypothesis-building, logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Able to engage C-suite stakeholders; drive to lead projects and develop junior members.
• Japanese required; business-level English welcomed.
• Preferred: pharma marketing, new product planning or digital experience; market access or patient-centric strategy; global project experience; thought leadership; data or technology solution building.
