Description
- Lead accounting activities for the Japan entity of a global company, with some FP&A responsibility
- Monthly and annual closing, statutory and financial reporting, audit support and internal controls
- Budget preparation, forecasting and actual-vs-plan reporting
- Work with a shared service center and manage administrative staff
- Bank operations, fixed asset management, tax return and statutory financial statement preparation
- Collaborate with APAC and global finance teams
- Tokyo-based; salary range JPY 8-11M
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience, with a full understanding of the annual accounting cycle
- Knowledge of US GAAP and JGAAP
- Experience with tax audit support
- Language: Japanese (business level) and English (Professional)
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and take ownership
- Problem solving and conflict management skills
- Comfortable collaborating with global teams
