Description
- Process and reconcile payments from international healthcare customers
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, missing payment information, and account issues
- Monitor credit balances, refunds, and customer correspondence
- Support medical billing, revenue cycle, and accounts receivable operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide audit/documentation support
- Ensure compliance with healthcare billing regulations and internal procedures
- Analyze billing/payment trends and support process improvements
- Ideal background includes medical billing, insurance claims, revenue operations, or healthcare AR experience
- Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, communication skills, and proficiency in Excel/MS Office required
- Experience with SAP, Epic, or other EHR/ERP systems preferred
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in medical billing, insurance billing, revenue cycle, or healthcare accounts receivable
- Associate’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in high-volume transaction processing
- Experience investigating and resolving payment or billing discrepancies
- Ability to work with customer remittances, refunds, and account reconciliations
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to follow established processes and maintain compliance standards
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Comfortable using billing, ERP, or EHR systems
- Experience with SAP, Epic, or similar systems preferred
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and support audits/projects
- Adaptable, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Authorized to work without sponsorship in the hiring location
