Medical Science Liaison (MSL) – Key Points Summary
Global Oncology organization focused on early detection, treatment guidance, and disease monitoring
Broad portfolio supporting informed decision-making across the cancer care continuum
Role serves as a medical and scientific liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders
Core Responsibilities
Deliver clinical and scientific education to oncologists, surgeons, pathologists, key opinion leaders, payors, and other healthcare professionals
Act as a credible scientific expert at medical meetings, conferences, advisory boards, and investigator events
Support growth of an established breast and colorectal oncology through fair-balanced scientific exchange
Respond to unsolicited medical inquiries with objective, evidence-based information
Identify, map, and build strong relationships with key opinion leaders and priority accounts
Support medical education initiatives, congress activities, sales training, and reimbursement efforts
Track and communicate new clinical data, publications, and competitive insights to internal teams
Pipeline & Clinical Trials
Identify and engage physicians and research centers to support clinical trial site development and patient enrollment
Provide medical and scientific training to clinical trial sites
Maintain strong working relationships with principal investigators and study teams

Qualifications & Skills
Advanced scientific degree (PharmD, PhD, or MD) with clinical experience
3–5+ years of experience in a medical affairs or senior clinical development role
Solid oncology background
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and across culturally diverse teams

High ethical standards, discretion, and strong business acumen
Comfortable with 60–70% travel, including overnight and weekend travel
