Project Manager, Japan
Role Overview:
Lead complex transformation projects in Japan, ensuring timely, on-budget delivery while promoting best practices and organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, execute, and monitor multi-country projects from start to finish.
Coordinate cross-functional teams and communicate progress, risks, and issues clearly.
Develop project plans including scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and risks.
Track performance metrics, identify gaps, and drive continuous improvement.
Mentor project team members and foster a collaborative environment.
Support leadership reviews and contribute to building a high-performing PM organization.
Requirements
Qualifications:
5+ years managing international projects with diverse teams.
Fluent in Japanese (N1/native) and English (C1+).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
PMP/PRINCE2 or equivalent preferred; consulting or life sciences experience a plus.
