Description
EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) management operations centered on offices and laboratories
: • Verify compliance with EHS-related laws and internal standards in offices and laboratories and promote necessary improvement activities.
• Manage chemicals, hazardous materials, and waste liquids used in laboratories and support safe and appropriate operation.
• Conduct regular safety checks of office and lab areas to identify potential risks and follow up on improvements.
• Collaborate with relevant departments such as R&D, facilities, and general affairs to promote the resolution of EHS issues.
• Support administrative responses related to EHS and necessary notifications and permits.
• Support the operation and improvement of EHS management systems such as ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Plan and implement EHS education, evacuation drills, and emergency response training for offices and laboratories.
• Develop and improve emergency response procedures assuming chemical spills, fires, earthquakes, etc.
• Promote activities related to waste reduction, energy conservation, and environmental impact reduction.
- Lead the development of a safety culture in office and laboratory environments based on global or internal EHS standards.
- Perform other tasks as instructed by your supervisor.
Requirements
・ Education: Bachelor's degree or higher
・ 8+ years of experience in EHS-related work in the manufacturing industry.
・ 2+ years of team management experience.
・ Leadership, sense of responsibility, and initiative.
・ Excellent communication and coordination skills.
<Preferred>
・ Knowledge of EHS-related laws and regulations in local governments and administrative agencies.
・ Expertise in on-site EHS management.
・ Basic knowledge of chemical substances, hazardous materials, waste, or workplace environment management.
・ Experience in operation and auditing of ISO 14001/ISO 45001 management systems.
・ Knowledge of machine safety protection, LOTO (lockout/tagout) requirements, and chemical substance management.
・ Experience in EHS management in an office or laboratory.
Experience in team leadership, project management, or improvement activities involving stakeholders.
