Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead core FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Prepare management reports and deliver actionable financial insights to support decision making.
- Analyze financial performance across key statements and identify risks and opportunities.
- Support monthly and quarterly close processes in partnership with accounting teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align financial plans and timelines.
- Drive improvements in reporting, processes, and data visualization.
- Support financial modeling and analysis for business growth initiatives.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Approximately 7 to 10 years of experience in FP&A, finance, or accounting roles.
- Prior experience supporting or supervising team members is preferred.
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills are required.
- Proven ability to collaborate across teams in a matrix environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Business-level English required; Japanese language skills preferred.
- Based in Tokyo with occasional travel as required.
