Position: Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Location: Tokyo (Hybrid Work)

Role Summary:
Lead FP&A activities for a major healthcare company, supporting executive leadership with financial analysis, strategic business planning, and decision support across commercial and non-commercial functions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Planning & Forecasting

    • Lead business planning, quarterly forecasts, and reporting processes.

    • Identify and communicate risks and opportunities to leadership.

    • Prepare management-level financial presentations.

  • Performance Management

    • Analyze P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and KPIs through BVA (Budget vs. Actual) reviews.

    • Provide proactive, forward-looking financial insights.

  • Business Partnering

    • Collaborate closely with business unit and functional leaders.

    • Develop financial strategies aligned with business priorities.

    • Support non-commercial teams with strategic financial guidance.

  • Process Improvement

    • Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.

    • Drive standardization and process alignment across business units and functions.

  • Team Leadership

    • Manage a team of 2–3 direct reports.

    • Foster team development and contribute to the broader finance leadership group.

  • Compliance

    • Ensure adherence to corporate financial policies and local regulations.

    • Collaborate with compliance teams to strengthen internal controls.


 

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's degree, CPA, or CMA preferred).

  • 5+ years relevant finance experience in multinational environments.

  • Business-level English proficiency.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience working in cross-functional, regional, or global teams.
