Product Marketing Manager

  • Responsibilities:
    • Manage all product lifecycle (Product launch, Local pricing, End of Sales / Life)
    • Achievement of quota assigned by corporate.
    • Achievement of MBO target
    • Localize sales operation schemes working with the sales and operation team.
    • Create, review, and update all technical information such as Product specifications
    • Write Solution Briefs, blogs, SNS, Case Studies, White Papers, and other strategic collateral to support the business and establish thought leadership
    • Respond to inquiries related to products and solutions
    • Provide sales enablement for the latest features and products to our partners and customers.
    • Provide internal sales training
    • Share feedback from the local sales team with U.S. headquarters
    • Deliver presentations to media and customers for new product launches
    • Refresh existing content with new releases to demonstrate unique value propositions to target markets
    • Represent  at select events
    • Prepare technical competitive analysis and share the findings internally.
    • Support marketing team for technical standpoints
    • Manage certifications, environment requirements (e.g., Green procurement), import/export regulation related to our products
    • Solve the product issues except for trouble tickets
    • Communicate with U.S. headquarters regularly to share updates.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with local industry analysts


Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of work experience in Product Marketing, Technical Marketing Engineer, Presales System Engineering, or Technical Support Engineering in IT/Networking Industries.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication in both Japanese and English
  • Technical experience with one of the following is required:
    • Application Delivery/Load Balancing: e.g., Layer-4-7, HTTP/HTTPS, Optimization, TCL Scripting, GSLB
    • Networking: Solid IPv4 knowledge, IPv6, CGN/CGNAT, IPv6 migration technologies (e.g., NAT64/DNS64) knowledge of networking product lines, switching and routing 
    • Security: e.g., Firewall / Web Application Firewall, DDoS Protection, SSL visibility, SIEM, or Secure Web Gateway
    • Virtualization: Familiarity with virtualization concepts: Containers, Hypervisors (VMware, KVM, or Hyper-V), IaaS, or SaaS
  • Excellent technical writing skills, including the ability to create original content based on research findings
  • Excellent presentation skills in both Japanese and English to communicate product functionality and advantages
  • Experience with competitive analysis including the ability to demonstrate unique value propositions to target markets
  • In-depth technical knowledge of any of the following is a plus:
    • SDN / Orchestrator (e.g., Kubernetes or OpenStack), SaaS applications (e.g., Microsoft 365, G Suite, Box), Automation (e.g., Ansible), or Programing (e.g., Python)
  • Knowledge of the Telecom, Networking, Security, or 5G market
  • Knowledge or experience of the other industries business is plus
  • Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
  • Possess great integrity
  • Location: Japan (Tokyo)
