About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Director, Digital Transformation – Japan, to serve as the key digital transformation leader for our client’s Japan business. This is a senior, highly visible role responsible for delivering value through digital, data, and technology at the country level.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary digital advisor to the Japan country leadership team, partnering closely with the Country President and senior executives.

• Define and execute a digital strategy that drives patient and business outcomes through innovative use of data and technology.

• Co-develop and lead execution of a digital roadmap aligned with strategic business priorities and measurable outcomes.

• Inspire cross-functional teams to embed digital in go-to-market models, enhancing customer (HCP and patient) engagement.

• Guide the adoption of advanced analytics, AI, and automation to improve commercial and operational decision-making.

• Lead country-level digital operations, programs, and partnerships.

• Represent the company externally as a digital leader—engaging with industry, government, and technology partners to influence digital health policy and ecosystem growth.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred

• Background in Business, Technology, or Life Sciences

• Strategic consulting experience a strong plus

• Proven track record of driving digital transformation at scale

• Experience influencing senior executives and managing across matrix organizations

• Strong stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and communication skills

• Background in digital health, life sciences, or regulated industries preferred

• Experience managing teams across geographies and functions

• Ability to build and lead high-performing teams
