Our client is one of the top global Tier 1 suppliers. Join their specialist team as they expand into the automotive electrification field.

・Grow JOEM accounts worldwide through strategic and technological (HEV/EV) innovation.

・Lead direct customer interface ensuring customer satisfaction (QCDDM)

Responsibilities:

  • Win new programs at his/her customer by implementing the necessary strategy and associated action plans.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through a clear QCDDM follow-up and associated action plan. 
  • Build Customer Development strategy with:
    • Necessary action plan to grow strong at his/her customers
    • Customer RFI/RFQ cycle plan to anticipate customer needs and associated products
    • Volume forecast
  • Lead tough negotiations (inflation, volume. Raw materials,….). And is the interface of the customer in case of logistics crisis
  • Drive and build the technical productivity road map together with the project managers and the manufacturing plants to reach customer ambitions of yearly savings
  • Communicate and report internally the progress of business in his/her Product Group and with Group Customer Director
  • Support Engineering technology road map presentation
  • Escalate crisis issues to upper management in timely manner
  • Manage administrative documents required by customer: packaging, quality, capacity, prices….

Requirements

  • University degree, preferred :
    • Mechanical or Electrical
    • Masters Degree in Business or equivalent
  • 7 or more years Mechanical or Electrical Engineer in the Automotive Industry
    • Knowledge of / experience with HEV/EV or equivalent is needed
  • 7 or more years International Sales in the Automotive Industry
  • Languages
    •  Fluency in Japanese
    •  Business English is mandatory
  • Strong negotiation skills by challenging customer while also by building a good relationship
  • Clear intimacy with his/her customer and knowledge of customer organization matrix
  • Has technology understanding:
    • Of company products
    • Can explain technologies to his/her customer
