A world leading Mobility solutions automotive supplier is hiring for a Cybersecurity Manager. 

As vehicles become increasingly connected, autonomous, and software-driven, cybersecurity is now a core pillar of safety and innovation. We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Manager to lead strategy, development, and operations of cybersecurity technologies across our vehicle systems.

This role is a key player in building a secure ecosystem for next-generation mobility, working closely with global OEMs, internal R&D teams, and international partners.

■ Key Responsibilities
Define and drive cybersecurity strategy for next-generation automotive systems
Design and build robust in-vehicle and external communication security architectures
Develop and implement cybersecurity development processes compliant with international standards (e.g., ISO/SAE 21434, UN R155)
Create and enforce internal cybersecurity policies and guidelines
Lead research and development of data science-based threat detection and prevention technologies
Manage the full lifecycle of cybersecurity specifications, including requirement definitions, supplier selection, evaluation, and operations
Collaborate with OEMs and internal teams (Japan & global) to ensure alignment and delivery

 

 

Requirements

Required Qualifications:
- Over 5 years of design or development experience in the field of cybersecurity within the automotive industry
- Hands-on experience in security strategy or architecture design
- Strong technical documentation skills in both Japanese and English
- Negotiation and coordination skills with overseas sites and OEMs

Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Business level
- English: Business level (including reading, writing, and speaking)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of in-vehicle networks (e.g., CAN, Ethernet) and ECUs
- Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO/SAE 21434 and UN R155
- Experience in R&D related to security technologies utilizing AI and data analytics
- Experience in joint development or participation in global projects with engineers from overseas locations
